(pics on my 360)Can never find the right color foundation for my skin tone.?
TRY PUTTIN BOTH TOGETHR BUT PUT DARK FIRST AND THEN LIGHTCan never find the right color foundation for my skin tone.?
bodyshop has a wide range of foundations and they are really good aswell, try searchin 4 one dere. im sure you'll find one. i dont were lipstick i jst wear lip moisteriser so i cant help u wid dat.
use one that is a shade darker than u

n put vaseline on your lips after u apply ur lipstick
first, you need to find your undertone. look at the veins on the underside of your wrist in natural daylight. if they're green, you have a warm undertone, and you have a olive or golden complexion. if your veins are blue, you have a cool undertone, and your complexion is rosy, pinkish, or even a bit blue. then determine your skin tone as fair, light, light/medium, medium, medium/deep, or deep.

it's best to get your foundation from a department store since department store brands have better quality. they also have representatives to help you choose the right type for your skin and also the shade you need.
well foundation only really covers up ur flaws..it doesn't fix it...and in the long run ur skin is gonna be worse off....so i suggest you just wash ur face everyday and apply a little bit of cocoa butter on ur face...just a little bit so it wouldn't dry up.
your skintone is probably changing due to weather change (like from summer to winter..) buy 2 foundation shades (one darker and one lighter).. and mix them together to get the right shade! use a mattyfying gel first on the oily areas to prevent grease all going all over the face.. and use oil-blotting sheets throughout the day to pick up extra oil (clean%26amp;clear oil controlling film is cheap and good)... also, choose ';mattifying foundation'; or a foundation that's oil free...

for lipstick.. use a bit of concealer on the lips.. then line AND fill your lips with a lip liner... then use lipstick.. if lipstick wears off, at least u'll still have some color thanks to the lip liner used previously...
I am assuming you have dark skin (your picture is not that clear)

I would go to a make up counter (Mac, Clinic or even Fashion Fair which is made for dark skin) have one of the ladies who are trained for this help you find the right shade for you.

I have tried all three and my favorite and the one I am currently using is MAC if you call in advance and make an appointment they will give you a make over (you have to buy something not sure how much).

Good luck!
Bare Minerals is great for oily skin and has great coverage. You can buy the 2 foundations and mix them together to get the right color. It's light and easy to apply and lasts all day. Or, try going to a cosmetic counter in your local mall. They will match your skin tone and suggest a foundation that will work for you.
Go to a good cosmetics counter. It is very difficult to find the right shade in a drug store. A product that looks like the right color for your skin in the bottle, may not be so good once you put it on your skin. You end up wasting so much money, buying cheap products that don't work. Just go ahead and have a professional choose a color to match your skin, and a type of foundation that is right for your oily skin. As for lipstick, that is a tough one. I am constantly re-applying it. They have lipsticks out there that are supposed to last longer, but I do not like how they feel on my lips. You might want to ask a cosmetologist about the lipstick, too. You might as well spend the money, and get it right!
Try Prescriptives can only be found in upscale department stores. They custom blend the powder for your skin tone and type. And they will tell you all about how to make your lip color last longer
try a deparment store makeup? try visiting a counter and have them match you up with something. make sure its oil free also. i've tried the drugstore brands and they didnt work to well on my skin.
I have the exact same problem.

What I have to do is get a cheapo brand BYS (from go-lo) and mix it with a covergirl ';clean'; foundation.

It works very well on not only my skin, but my friends too =]
Personally i think foundation looks horrible and if you have oily skin it's even worse!! First of all to sort out that oily skin, get some shine control tissues, they are avaliable at bodyshop and also the barbara daly range at tesco.

Then just dust on some face powder, it looks soooo much nicer as it blends better. Also exfoliate your skin every night to get rid of dead skin and makeup in the pores to avoid spots.
