How can you tell what the right foundation color is?

I know you can put a bunch on your face and go into natural light and blah blah but whats a quicker easier way?How can you tell what the right foundation color is?
alot of people think that you should test on your wrist... dont.... go on your jawline and put 3 shades and chose the one that resembles your neck color then you wont look fakeHow can you tell what the right foundation color is?
Basically the only way to be sure is dab just above your jaw line and look in a mirror. And yes natural light is the best to be sure. If it matches, you shouldn't see any spots and it should blend with your skin perfectly.


If you find this too hard, go to a department store makeup counter and they will match if for you :)
When looking at the bottle or picture always choose the shade that looks darker rather than lighter.
Use a light concealer


and a dark loose powder
