How do you know what foundation color matchs your true skin color ?How do you know what foundation color matchs your true skin color ?
put a little on your neck, if it disappears, its good if you can see it, wrong shadeHow do you know what foundation color matchs your true skin color ?
Put a stripe of it on your jawline and then look in a mirror in daylight. If you can see the makeup, it's not the right color. If it blends in perfectly, buy that shade because you have a winner. Check you are matching both in the winter and summer, because you may need to adjust your color as your skin darkens or fades.
apply a stripe by your jawline (halfway from your ear to your mouth) and look at it in different lights, especially natural light. If the stripe disappears then it is the right color. It may show a little if you dont blend it completely. You can even use this method to compare several colors at one time, just apply different stripes in the same general area.
Always do the Jawline test. Pick 3 shades that closley match your skin tone and then take each shade and place 3 strips of the shades on your jawline, whichever color matches sinks right into your jawline and blends effortlessley into the skin, then that is the color you should go with.
Good Luck, I hope I helped *_*
If the foundation dissapears into your skin, you know its the right color. Some peoples face and neck are different colors. Chose a color that is in between these two colors so theres not a noticeable difference.
Test it along your jaw line...its not rocket science...
If you want something really really close to your skin colour, try Loreals true match foundations.
It's really easy to tell if you match it up on the back of your hand or something. I use Mary Kay foundation and I really like it.
match it with your neck, so you avoid being able to tell where your make up ends.
try testing it on the back of your hand,
