What's a fast and easy way to determine what foundation matches your skin tone? I always get so frustrated trying to find the right shade and they always end up being too dark so it looks really caked on. Thanks! What's a quick, easy way to match skin color to foundation?
Go to a department store and get it professionally matched. You don't need to buy their makeup but you'll know what color to go for if you want to gat a drugstore brand. and I think many drugstores allow yo to bri the maeup back! :DWhat's a quick, easy way to match skin color to foundation?
Definitely go to the department store to get matched, just so you know your general coloring. I use the Almay self-adjusting makeup and I love it. It gives me a light, almost tinted-moisturizer feeling, and it automatically adjusts to my skin tone as I blend it out, so I don't end up with foundation that's too dark for me. You can grab it at pretty much any drugstore.
It's hypoallergenic, too, which I love. Doesn't irritate my allergies, doesn't clog my pores. Plus it's really buildable so I can choose whether I want lighter or heavier coverage.
try them on the back of your hand first then once you think its close as possible try it on your jawline and blend it in
revlon has come up w/ a new foundation Innovative bottle offers five shade settings, making it easy to fine-tune your foundation shade for the perfect match. Simply turn the dial to adjust shade from lighter to darker. Lightweight formula blends seamlessly into skin for a naturally flawless look hope it helps
My technique is grab one that I think is close to my skin tone. Look at the closest mirror in the store, put the foundation next to my neck right under my jaw to see if it's close to my skin tone. If so then I open the product and get a really small amount and blend. Look in the mirror, and check if it's a winner or not.
