How can i tell which color foundation is best for me?

like, i try so many colors and put them on my face but its so hard to actually tell which one is my color. like its just really complicated for me. so how can i know which color is my exact color? How can i tell which color foundation is best for me?
Test the foundation on the back of your hand between the thumb and pointer finger. Rub it in as you would on your face, and look at how well it covers and blends.

A sure fire way to find the perfect color is to visit a professional. Try make up counter at one of your local merchants....Merle Norman, Belk, J.C. Penny, Sephora. OK, I know all of these are expensive especially when you try to purchase their products to achieve the look they reccommend.

For a less expensive solution, consult your local AVON representative.

I am including a link so that you can search for someone near you incase you do not have a rep that you deal with regularly. She can advise you on many skin care and makeup solutions that will not leave your bank account dry.

Best wishes!!!!!!!!!!

This is the oldest trick in the book. If it's a liquid, you can open it, and just rub your finger across the top and then test it on your hand. What you want is for the shade to match, but also for it not to be too pink or yellow against your skin. Once you've found a pretty good match, make sure that when you put it on your face, you put it on your neck too and rub it down past your jawbone too and be sure to blend it in so you don't get that line! :)
The color has to be as similar as possible.

(altho if you make a mistake, let's hope it's for a slightly lighter foundation)

And for that, you need to try it on your jaw line, closer to your neck than to the rest of your face.

Remember how important light is! It does not the same inside your house than outside of it...

Good luck =)
try putting on two at the same time

put one color on the left, and another on the right and compare them

which ever seems to blend better and you cant really seem to notice that its a different color from your skin use

and if the one that is closer to your skin tone isn't exactly your color then pick a lighter or darker tone and compare those
Ask for assistance first. Then when you have had it narrowed down, if there are testers and if you are near any natural lighting, apply strips of the foundation on your jaw line, from your cheek to your neck. The shade that appears to ';disappear'; will be your best bet. Anything that looks like it is almost not there, that is waht you want.
put it on your face, and then check it in sunlight if it's possible. sunlight is the most natural and the best way to check if your foundation matches your skin.
The Purple one.
honestly just ask the people at the makeup counter to help you.. i mean they wouldnt be there if they didnt know what they were doing
